While I want this blog to be a combination of many many things, I am a writer, and this blog will have to deal with writing. And the publishing industry. I also like chocolate, wine, sex, and a good row. Hopefully I’ll get to write about those things as well. Maybe all at once.
The thing I’m most proud of is that I recently finished the first draft of my novel. I’ve completed first drafts before, but I think this is a big deal because I’ve stuck with this project and only this project. Most of the time I’ll lose interest, get another idea, or juggle several ideas at once. Not this time. I feel damn proud that I actually said I was going to focus on this one novel, and I did it. Go me.
For all of the writers out there who’ve finished their first draft, rock on! Congratulations!
Now get off your ass and work on draft two.
